  • An anchor-shaped incision is the most common technique used in breast reduction. It allows for a greater volume of breast to be removed.
  • Vertical breast reduction is also known as a "lollipop" reduction because of the shape of the incision. It encircles the nipple area, then descends in a straight line, forming a lollipop shape.
