About Dr. LoVerme
Dr. LoVerme established Accurate Aesthetics in 1996 with the mission of providing exceptional care. Patients come to Accurate Aesthetics with very different expectations. Dr. LoVerme and his staff devote the time and attention needed to understand these expectations. Because every body is unique, each surgery Dr. LoVerme performs is individual and personalized.
Boston Breast Reduction
For women who want smaller breasts, Dr. LoVerme can reduce the size and then reshape the breast. Breast Reduction may be performed through the standard techniques or with the newer soft tissue aspiration technique (liposuction breast reduction). Standard breast reduction has risks of scar and even loss of tissue because of decreased blood supply. Dr. LoVerme doesn not perform this operation in smokers because of these risks. However, it may give the very best results with lifting of the breasts in many patients, especially those with the largest breasts. Liposuction breast reduction is a newer technique that minimizes many of these risks. It virtually eliminates scars. It may be done in Dr. LoVerme's private surgery suite with a sedation type anesthesia. It will make the breasts smaller and less heavy but it gives only a minimal lift. We require patients over 30 to have a mammogram prior to breast reduction by any method. With the liposuction method, tissue can not be examined by examined by pathologists. Neither of these methods increase the risks of breast cancer. The type of breast reduction chosen is a personal decision that will be discussed with our staff.
